Lexus Electric Showcase Melbourne Cup Carnival
Lexus Electric Showcase at the 2026 Melbourne Cup Carnival
Guests visiting the LANDMARK by Lexus pavilion at this year's Melbourne Cup Carnival will have the opportunity to experience two significant new battery-electric models, offering a glimpse into the next chapter of Lexus.
On display within the Birdcage Enclosure will be the limited-edition RZ 600e F SPORT Performance alongside the all-new TZ, representing the breadth of Lexus engineering through high-performance electrification and sophisticated family luxury.
Visitors will be able to get up close to both models ahead of the arrival of the RZ 600e F SPORT Performance in late 2026 and the TZ's Australian launch in 2027.
Lexus Australia Chief Executive Jack Hobbs said the Melbourne Cup Carnival is the perfect opportunity for the electric duo to demonstrate the breadth and ambition of the Lexus brand.
"At Lexus, innovation is never pursued for its own sake. Every new model must deepen the connection between driver, passengers, and the road ahead," Mr. Hobbs said.
"The all-new TZ and RZ 600e F SPORT Performance showcase the duality of Lexus electrification. One expands luxury through space and versatility; the other pushes the boundaries of thrilling performance."
“Together, they signal a new dawn for Lexus and the beginning of our most exciting era yet.”
All-new TZ
The all-new TZ is a three-row luxury SUV built around the luxury of choice, with the flexibility to prioritise passenger space, carrying capacity or additional seating as the occasion demands.
Guided by the concept of a "driving lounge", the TZ delivers a first-class experience throughout the cabin, ensuring the same sense of comfort and connection for every passenger.
Limited-edition RZ 600e F SPORT Performance
Offering a more daring and dynamic expression of Lexus electrification, the RZ 600e F SPORT Performance builds on the broader RZ range with increased downforce, a 20mm-lowered sports suspension, unique 21-inch wheels and an exclusive optional Hakugin white matte two-tone paint finish.
A distinctive yoke steering wheel and steer-by-wire system further elevate the driving experience, offering intuitive control and precise responses.
With only nine examples destined for Australia, the RZ 600e F SPORT Performance will be an exceptionally rare addition to the local Lexus lineup.
Far more than just new models, the TZ and RZ are statements of intent, signalling a Lexus that is broader in appeal, bolder in character and more ambitious than ever.
Both vehicles will be on display at Flemington Racecourse throughout the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
